DIY Wine bottle Numbers/Labels

Hey SUPER crafters!  It’s Monday and I wanted to share with you a super simple project!  These are decorative wine bottles I made for a wedding gift next month.  The bride and groom love wine and I thought it would be a nice way to showcase the year they were married, as well as, a creative decorative piece for their new apartment.  These wine bottles were made right before New Years, so I also used them to decorate our get together to ring in the new year.  You can make wine bottles with numbers for an anniversary, a milestone birthday party decoration, a Table number for a party/wedding, and so many other things.  I didn’t have enough bottles on hand, so I went to my local wine shop that does wine tasting and asked them if they were recycling any bottles.  They gave me the beautiful gold and silver ones! In case you don’t drink wine or don’t have any empty bottles, you can always ask a local place near you if they will give you some. I used the foil doilies from Stampin’ up as a base on one and the tea lace doilies as the base on the other 2.  Last, I punched an oval to fit in the oval already on the bottle.   Be sure to use a GLUE GUN!  It is so much easier and sticks so much faster.

Each bottle is a series of layered punches.  I ended each layer with a number from the Large Numbers framelit collection on Silver glimmer paper.

DOn’t have these awesome numbers? You can grab your favorites Here.

Have a SUPER Day!
