Layout

Happy Friday!  I know I have mentioned it before, but I LOVE ANIMAL PRINT!  I love pink…..I love glimmer paper….ok, that is the end of my confession Friday.  All those things make me LOVE this layout.  Stampin’ Up has small stacks that are perfect for these little squares and accent pieces for your scrapbook pages.  No more cutting that whole sheet of 12×12 for just a little square or rectangle.  I used a Project Life Journal pen to get that thin line border around the page.  I used a ruler to help me stay somewhat straight.  I also used the white Uni Gel-O pen.  I may add this to my LOVE list.  I use the White Gel-O pen all the time to make that Faux stitching look on my pages.  DOn’t have a White pen?  Grab one Here.

You may be wondering where the silver embellishements came from.  Those are itty bitty accent epoxy stickers that I colored.  TIP:  Use Sharpie markers to color epoxy stickers to coordinate with your layouts and cards.  Be sure to color them before you pull them off the sheet and give them a minute to dry so you don’t get the ink all over your fingers.  I used the silver metallic sharpie to color these to coordinate with the silver glimmer paper.

Number of years x9

Hello my fellow Supergirls!  Thanks for stopping by!

Any of you have scraps that you can’t figure out how to use?  Here is the perfect card for you! You can use this layout for any occasion.  I saw the sketch on Pinterest and changed the paper and some of layers.  Here I used Stampin’ Up School house designer paper.  I had just a few strips left of each pattern, but couldn’t stand the thought of throwing it away.   The card is 4.5 x 4.5 inches and each square is just 1 x 1 inch.  I layered a circle that I punched from a piece of Stampin’ Up window sheet.  I edged the sides with staz on jet black ink to give it some dimension.  I also pierced the circle around the edges.  It is hard to see the piercing, so I probably won’t do that on the next card I make with this sketch.  I layered on top of that a white circle and then the number from the number of years bundle.  The stamps are  from the number of years bundle as well.      Want to get the number of years bundle?!  Grab it here during Sale-a-bration time to get a FREE gift!   Hope this helps you use up all the scraps laying around!

Scrapbook challenge entry

Hey Supergirls!  Thanks for visiting today.  Here is my latest creation for a scrapbook challenge I am entering.  I must admit…..I don’t like working under pressure, but I do love a good sketch to work from.  Here is my little Wonder Girl in her sassy boots.  Funny how she is so little and still can recognize a cute shoe!  This page goes together so fast.  I absolutely LOVE this watermelon Wonder ribbon from Stampin’ up!  It is super easy to work with and gives pages “fancy” touch.

TIP:  Be sure to stick your title to the block if you can, then stamp on a scrap piece of paper to make sure the letters are exactly where you want them.  This way you can stamp the scrap and readjust the letters as needed before stamping on your final project.  Want to get scrappy ideas in your inbox?  Be sure to subscribe so you don’t miss out!
